I am writing a psychological analysis on a current news event. I am in an introductory psychology course, and im struggling choosing a topic. An example they give is “why major league baseball attendance will drop this year”. As this topic is fictional, i wont be choosing it, but what kind of things would you write about. My course so far has been just briefing congntive psychology, and developmental psychology.

Do you tell little white lies when applying for jobs?

I am not talking about telling huge whopping lies,like stating you have worked at some huge law firm when you havent. Those are things that you could specifically be caught out on.

But do you tell small lies, for example, claiming that you handle budgets in your current role, when really you havent done so? Or claim to have conducted presentations to people, when in actual fact you havent?? That sort of thing.

Why do people dislike Snow White, Cinderella, and Sleeping Beauty so much?

I mean I know they don’t kick butt like the other Disney Princesses but I still like them! They aren’t exactly my favorite princesses but I still like them and I have a certain respect for them for some reasons. Cinderella is probably one of the most popular and is pretty much the face for the Disney Princess line, Snow white is the first ever Disney Princess, and Sleeping beauty….well her villain is kick @ss and scared the crap out of me when I was little so that’s pretty much all I have to say about that.

Most complaints I hear about them is that they are complete damsels in distress, wait for they’re prince to rescue them, and that they give girls the wrong message that being pretty is all it takes to make it in this world. I don’t think the last one is completely true but as for the other two I think we need to consider the time period they were made in: Snow White 1937, Cinderella 1950, and Sleeping Beauty 1959. They are the oldest Disney Princesses around and they were made in times when it was still ok to be a damsel in distress without getting major backlash because of it. That’s the only reason I’m not too hard on them. So why does everyone else dislike them?

How do I write a legal brief? An online example?

I need help and quick!!! I have a paper due tomorrow (feb 25th) for a paralegal class and can’t seem to figure out how to do my assignment. The assignment is:

Write a mini legal brief based on a handout (a legal brief re: Harris vs Forklift systems… sexual harassment case). There was an appeal and it went to the supreme court too.

Only problem is that she wants us to do this when we have had NO instructions from her or the book on how to do this. I tried to figure it out on my own but can’t since this is my firts paralegal course. HELP!!!

Is there anywhere online that one might be able to turn me to for examples of how to write a minibrief from a breif (my brief is condensed to 1 page long).
What is vital to be in a legal brief?
Is it different from a minibrief?
Or is it the same, just shorter in length?
