Getting ready for a trip to the dump

I could use a little help at the dump, any volunteers? Dont worry I am not asking you to help me move a sofa, I am talking about my new podcast the Brain Dump. I would like you to give me some ideas about topics that you need explained or that you want more information about. Before we start that, let me give you a little background about why I started the dump.

I am constantly doing research into new ways to write marketing materials for my clients and how to market myself as a freelancer. If you are anything like me, after you go on one of these extensive learning binges, you use what you learned immediately and then gradually forget the details as normal life intrudes again. To stop the information from steadily leaking out of my brain I keep notes on the various topics I explore. While I was referring back to some of my notes the other day, it struck me. I should put the information on the internet so that other entrepreneurs will not have to do all the tedious research that I did. It might also help my clients to better understand the services that I offer. Hence, the Brain Dump podcast.

Back to the question at hand. I would like to hear your opinions on which topics that you would like to learn about. Here are a few that I have in mind:

  • How to setup your first business website
  • How to work a room at a networking event
  • Where are the best places to network
  • A brief lexicon of words used in freelance copy-writing. (To help newbies and to help clients know what to ask for)
  • What are backlinks and how can they help you?
  • Easy to do SEO tactics

Which of these sounds good to you? If none do then leave me some comments with ideas that you have come up with. Thanks!
